Hottest Women in Sci-Fi

Well, being a woman it's hard for me personally to judge what's "hot" but I can certainly tell you who I appreciate as being quite attractive AND talented (the talent part is crucial cause I can't abide beautiful but vacuous *cough*JessicaAlba*cough*). And I went for actors here instead of characters.

Terry Farrell (ST DS9) and Claudia Christian (B5) are on the cusp because, while they are undeniably beautiful, I'm not sure how great of an actress each is (haven't seen them in much else). Although I certainly did like the jobs they did on their respective shows.

I didn't include any of all the beautiful young ladies from Buffy because, well, that's just not science fiction in my book. And the women I've listed are/were leading actors in their respective shows. There are many, many more out there who are just as deserving of praise (way too many to list). Honorable mention goes to Teryl Rothery (SG-1) (who didn't make the list only because she was a secondary character) and Donna Murphy (ST Insurrection) and Alice Krieg (ST First Contact) (who instantly sprang to mind but didn't make the list cause they were only guest characters in a scifi movie. And if I included movies, well... there be no stopping, so...).

So mabey Leia is is bit too far back for me, but that got me thinking: Natalie Portman! - Padme, she could be one of the hottest women in (insert any genre here) on many guys and girls lists.

Also, Ive never seen Buffy, but Ive gotta say Sarah Michelle Gellar could also be one of the hottest women in (insert any genre here) on many guys and girls lists.

And of course I cant forget good old Stargate and not so old Amanda Tapping who should be one of the hottest women in (insert any genre here) on many guys and girls lists.

Also Evangeline Lily from Lost is creeping up there.
