1. Farscape (Far and away my favorite scifi series, *ever*)
2. Battlestar Galactica (New version)
3. Stargate SG1
If we could do the Top 5 I'd have to add Quantum Leap and anything Whedon-related, Buffy/Angel especially, although I'm not sure those would be considered scifi.
ETA: Oops! Forgot about the X-Files! How could I? Mmmkay, I'll stick Mulder and Scully and gang at #5, seeing as Buffy/Angel really don't fit.
Taking a chance putting BSG in there with only 13 episodes to its credit but I have a feeling it's going to be a keeper. If I could add more it would be Firefly, Atlantis and ST: TOS (nostalgia's sake)
My Favorite Jayne Quotes: "Time for some thrilling heroics." "These are stone killers, little man. They ain't cuddly like me." "Do you know what the chain of command is here? It's the chain I go get and beat you with to show you who's in ruttin' command." "I'll be in my bunk."
1. SG-1 : the only show to ever entice me out into fandom, to attend *gasp* conventions and generally get me labelled as "giant geek"
2. Quantum Leap only recently demoted to second by SG-1, and mostly then cos it's been a good 10 years since it was on, and I'm still traumatised by the series finale *glares at QL PTB*..... on an up note, my best friend just gave me the first season on DVD for my birthday, so joy!
3. Battlestar Galactica - new series. A recent addition, and I must say I only accidentally got hooked, but now I have to say this is at the top of my "will do almost anything to watch new season" list I missed the miniseries, and watched scattered pieces of the first few eps and was uinimpressed - I found it extremely dark and depressing, I couldn't see how anyone could watch it..... and then before you know it, I'm COMPLETELY addicted and loving every tortured tormented minute, and practically having a stroke at the finale
Honorable mentions:
SGA - I do enjoy the show, but it's not at the same level of addiction as the other 3.....
ST:TNG - ahhhh, high school still enjoyable, altho I don't own any DVD sets...... yet....
