Hey, that describes me too!
But now that you've already started reading one....I guess I'm all alone again, huh?
Spoiler:
I have to say, though, that qhen we were told that someone was going to die in this book, I was really expecting it to be a bigger character than Dumbledore. Not that Dumbledore's NOT a big character....I was just expecting it to be one of Harry's friends. Like either Ron or Hermione. And PLEASE don't get me wrong. I have nothing at all against either character. But I figured that of one of them got killed in this book, it would be such a huge disaster for Harry that it would nearly push him over the edge, thus setting the stage for the final novel....you know what I mean? But I fully admit that I haven't READ the books, so please feel free to completely disregard my thoughts if you wish. That's just the impression I had before the book was released, and apparently I was wrong. And I'm really not sure why I felt the need to tell you all that, but....blah. So I did. Too bad.
There is only one thing we can ever truly control: whether we are good, or evil.

but you'll need to take out all the space between the brackets and the word SPOILER
Hope that makes sense
JANICE: Dr. Bob, you've given this hospital a bad name. DR BOB: You're right. Fred is a terrible name for a hospital. I'll give it a better name. How 'bout Eunice?
I think I know who the R.A.B. is that is spoken of in the fake Horcrux. It's Regulus A. Black, Sirius Black's brother who became a Death Eater, but tried to leave and was killed by Voldemort. Take a look back at book five, in the chapter called Noble House of Black

So, what do you think?
Hey, that a good idea I didn't think of that.
Spoiler:
then if it is him, do you think he had the chance to destroyed the Horcrux or did he just take it?

Actually I'm almost convince, it would make sense, in book 7 Harry can't find the locket to finally figure out that it belonged to Black and that it was at Sirius house all the time!

Okay... I just bought the book less than 15 minutes ago. We were selling it where I work at, so I went ahead and bought it before I left work. Besides, I heard the local major Bookstore had already sold out.
I started this thread for those who are reading the book too. I plan to write a little something after reading each chapter. Thoughts, speculations, etc. Please, feel free to add your own thoughts with me..! I suppose this could sort of be a book club (unofficial of course), where we might discuss it, as we read it you know?
Well... enough chit-chat... I'm going to go and read the first chapter now...
Ta-ta-for-now..!!!
The success or failure of your deeds, does not add up to the sum of your life. Your spirit cannot be weighed! Judge yourself by the intentions of your actions, and by the strength with which you faced the challenges that have stood in your way. Well... I've read the first chapter. I thought it was an interesting way to start the book. With the Prime Minister of the U.K. no less... (Between the War on Terror and the War with Voldemort, poor Tony Blair must really have his hands full... ) Personally... I'm glad that
Spoiler:
Fudge finally got sacked.
I never liked him much. Well... onto the next chapter.

Chapter 2... I've never liked Snape. This chapter has certainly given us reason to doubt his loyalties. Or depending on your previous opinions of him, perhaps confirm his loyalties. Hmmm... That last bit was pretty nasty. What is Draco being sent to do?? It can't be good. ...and if he fails... Snape has 'magically-vowed' to try and do it in his place?? Hmmm...
Moving on...
