I really liked all the vampires in the Amelia Atwater-Rhodes books. It shows vamps as not just soulless blood-suckers, but also very human. I highly recommend them.YAY DANCING BANANAS!!!

The vampires that really got me interested in the fantasy/vampire/horror theme has to be the vamps in the book series'Night World' written by Lisa Jane Smith.
They're a little old now but are great, and the 10th and last book in the series has just (after about 6 years) came out.
I love how they completely different than most other kinds of vamps in that they can walk around in the day and reproduce, grow old, and stop they're ageing, kind of more 'normal'.
Also most vamps in buffyverse, especially vamp Harmony.Speaker: "This is getting ridiculous. The first assassin kills the second assassin sent to kill the first assassin who didn't assassinate anyone until we hired the second assassin to assassinate her."

From the original 'Salems Lot' movie with David Soul as the star.
The very young vampire boy floating outside his brothers window, slightly tapping the glass to wake his older brother up to feed on him.
That whole movie about a secret town of Vampires creeped me out big time!Last edited by the Fifth Race; 23 April 2005, 08:30 AM.

I had always liked the vampires from 'The Lost Boys'.
I was early teen when that movie came out and thought it would be cool to be like that. I guess it was being a teen without any responsibility, except to feed, was very interesting to me.If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving is not for you.
