I'll definitely miss the two of them. Though I'm fond of Amy, Rory ended up being my favorite of the two characters, especially how he changed into an absolute badass.
What I'm really hoping for is a satisfying resolution to the plot lines about the Silence. They're easily my favorite villains along with the Weeping Angels. I can imagine a storyline set up near the end of series 7 about the Doctor going to Trenzalore but of course, it's all about how and why he gets there.

Yeah lol, Rory is a badass.
I too look forward to the resolution of the Silence story.
I just had a neat idea for the 50th anniversary special, what if instead of the 11 Doctors they did the 11 Companions, where the current Doctor teams up with a companion from each of his 11 incarnations? It wouldn't matter that the companions had grown older. Perhaps some villain kidnaps his past companions in order to lure the Doctor out of hiding now that he's decided to fade into the shadows. There are still living companions from each of the past Doctors.

Very very nice idea!

If the events of series 6, or most of them happened in an aborted timeline what happened to the Doctor that the FBI captured. Who gave them the technology to make that prision from dwarf star alloy?
Also if those events were an aborted timeline at the end of the series why should he keep a low profile? Those people wouldn't exist in the real timeline that were after him would they?
