I'm not really a coin collector - that's my wife... But next to the pewter chess set (have it) and pinball machine (want it), this looks like it'll become a real collectors piece/s.

See... I'm not impressed.

I REALLY like the TARDIS 50th coin that they minted. It was quite elegant and was a wonderful little commemorative item... but less is more. These look comparatively tacky, and so many of them cheapens the significance of a single special release coin. They resemble expensive Pogs, not coins...
