Seriously sometimes I wonder about your socialization skills, or maybe you just don't have much faith in people to give them the benefit of the doubt, I don't know. If you cared to read, I was making fun, as in parody or spoof, of those that belittled Americans in much the same way I sarcastically belittled the Brits for the same subject taking advantage of the fact that it was a British show that made a silly censorship move that some British posters here accused Americans of being the same thing when it was done by Stargate, or when some advocated such censorship for Stargate.

Because unless the Brits you are trying to get back at are here, your comment is just offensive, whether you are aiming to be or not. Read MY post thoroughly. If you want to say that, say it to the Brits who annoyed you. Don't insult the poor Brits that had nothing to do with previous arguments.

As for socialisation, I get on fine with plenty of people who don't constantly try to get a rise out of me. And plenty of people get the benefit of the doubt. But you should remember, tone is hard to gauge online.

The Americans are just as weird when it comes to censorship........ You can see people shot and blown up and all in a US TV show but if a boob suddenly appears everyone has epileptic fits, the network gets tons of complaints and the show yanked off air....... it becomes a major drama..... Like the farce over janet Jackson at the Superbowl..... A storm over NOTHING....

My point exactly. Then there's the people that got mad over the Doctor's comments about wanting to be ginger. Basically look at how offended Garr got over my comments, I'm sure he now appreciates how your generalizations are just down right offensive and once again why I said what I said.
