Ah, Ship in a Bottle! How much I love that episode! The interaction between the second TARDIS Team of the 2003-2004 series of Doctor Who (yes, 2003-2004 series in my head canon and in my own personal Who episode guide) is a joy to listen to!

I was really hoping Ravenous would come out today, since it’s supposed to be out this week. Would’ve been nice to run straight into it without pause after Doom Coalition. Oh well, maybe tomorrow

Yes! I mean, I don't understand how you're counting years, but otherwise I completely agree! The Eighth Doctor, Liv, and Helen make just a wonderful team, right from their first story together in The Red Lady. But Ship in a Bottle was just a beautiful character piece for the three of them, wasn't it? And in the previous DC set, Absent Friends is just so touching it makes me want to cry.

Waiting on Ravenous myself.
EDIT: Oh I only just saw this!

Remind me to post my 1996 - 2004 parts of my Episode Guide sometime. Basically I fill in the 9-year gap between the 1996 TV movie and the 2005 return with Paul McGann's Big Finish and BBC Radio 7 audio stories and put them into a TV structure. But anyway, I'm glad you agree and I also absolutely agree about Absent Friends. Very moving stuff.
