          Arc of Infinity

I feel sorry for Omega. He's revered by his people yet can never live among them. It's tragic.

Feel odd asking, but, have you watched The Three Doctors too?

Indeed, Omega is certainly one of the most... sad "enemies" in Doctor Who's history... it's something not oft seen, but certainly adds greatly to the story.

I muchly prefer the original Omega's costume and voice... and it's a shame they didn't have the time/tech to use Peter Davison in full for Omega's worldly appearance (instead using Ian Collier towards the end of the chase sequence).

Yes, I bought "The Three Doctors" before realizing there was a special edition coming out (DOH!). I have to agree with you on the original costum. I think they wanted to change it so the villain would remain a mystery for a couple episodes.

I'd been wanting to do a series 5 and 6 re-watch for a very long time and I wanted to squeeze it all in. It's a testament to the show that I get different insights into the characters each time I watch these episodes. It's never quite the same experience twice and that's a wonderful thing!
