Synopsis
----------
The TARDIS picks up a distress call from Earth in 1997. The Doctor and Ace discover that a UNIT platoon, led by Brigadier Winifred Bambera, has come under assault whilst transporting a nuclear warhead. The attackers turn out to be Arthurian knights from another dimension, led by the legendary sorceress Morgaine, whose magical powers appear to be real. When the Doctor meets Ancelyn, a knight opposed to Morgaine, he learns that a future incarnation of himself will become Merlin, and that he buried King Arthur and Excalibur beneath the waters of a nearby lake. The Doctor must confront Morgaine, who has summoned a demonic entity known as the Destroyer of Worlds.

Captain Jack Harkness modified a Defabricator and turned it into a weapon to fight Daleks.

The Defabricator appeared in the Doctor Who stories:

• The Stolen Earth

It was also seen, but never used in every episode of Torchwood up to the opening episode of that shows 3rd series. It was stored in the Torchwood 3 weapons storage locker and was possibly destroyed along with the Torchwood 3 base.

Synopsis

Arriving back on Earth in 1966 at London's Gatwick Airport, the Doctor, Polly, Ben and Jamie soon learn of mysterious disappearances which have occurred with alarming frequency at the airport. To make matters worse, Ben and Polly also vanish, and a perfect duplicate of Polly appears claiming never to have met the Doctor or Jamie. The Doctor soon learns of the true force at work: the Chameleons, faceless aliens who are attempting to steal the identities of the kidnapped commuters and take over the Earth.
