The arrival of the 'original' TARDIS brings the total on display in Cardiff to four, joining the Fifth and Ninth/Tenth Doctors' console rooms in the exhibition and the original Eleventh Doctor version visitors can engage with within the Experience itself. If that wasn't enough, the Experience have also announced that during the summer there will also be a special tour available to see a fifth - in the form of the current TARDIS studio set at the nearby BBC Roath Lock Studios.
Further activities at the Experience this summer include a guided tour at weekends, taking in a number of recognisable locations that have featured in Doctor Who (and Torchwood) near to the exhibition. See the Doctor Who Experience website for more details on booking and availability.
(You can see further photos of the An Adventure in Space and Timeconsole at the Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre and read an interview with the drama's writer Mark Gatiss courtesy of the Blogtor Who fan site.)
Last week, the Doctor Who Youtube channel released a mysterious 4th Doctor teaser video, leaving many fans speculating on what it all meant.
Now the mystery has now been somewhat solved with a follow up video, and as Doctor Who TV expected, it is merchandising related. The merchandise in question being the previously announced Terror of the Zygons DVD due for release later in the year.
This may not be the end of the matter though as the DVD case and cover in the latest video looks like it is actually part of a boxset rather than the standalone release.
Still, it’s hard not to sympathise with fans hoping the whole thing would have led to something much bigger than yet more merchandise…
Alas - I was honestly hoping that we were in store for something fantastic along the lines of 'The Dark Dimension' that was canned in favour of 'Dimensions in Time'. That would have been epic....
sigpic Long before you and I were born, others beat these benches with their empty cups,
To the night and its stars, to the here and now with who we are.
Another sunrise with my sad captains, with who I choose to lose my mind,
And if it's all we only pass this way but once, what a perfect waste of time.
The tickets for the Con went on sale this morning. They are selling fast. There are no VIP TARDIS tickets left on any day, and Standard tickets have sold out for adults on Saturday. If you are thinking of buying any, you might want to hurry.

Keep checking occasionally if you want one Teddy. I've noticed there are standard Child tickets available on Sunday & as children of course can't go on their own, they may convert those to adult tickets.
Or if you are really desperate, the event organisers are looking for Stewards to help out. You can contact them here - [email protected] (little bit of info near the end of the FAQs http://celebration.doctorwho.tv/faqs)
I just thought I'd mention there are still Ice Warrior Family Tickets available on Friday. They are £110 + £6 booking fee. If you can find a friend to take and split the cost then that's £55 + £3.... not much more than the ordinary standard ticket of £49 + £4.
Edit - Those tickets have gone. Event is now totally sold out.
