Here is the first scene I ever made - the gun practice with Jack and Gwen from the episode "Ghost machine". This is the original: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zdZE-sOC0CM

I made them blue ear protectors and yellow goggles. I also had intended to make a black vest for Jack, as he wears in this scene, but I have no idea of tayloring. I hope you don't mind that little continuity difference.

I'm disappointed that they can move only so little, though. I was not even able to make Jack's famous self hugging pose. He also is not able to put his second hand under the hand that holds the weapon. My Stargate-Jack is able to move his shoulders better for this pose.

And Gwen can't move her head at all and stubbornly refuses to look into the direction she points her weapon. Seems Jack has a bit of hard work to do yet

Even heroes have to carry umbrellas sometimes while catching aliens.

Jack: "You! Stay away from her!"

The little girl is frozen by fear.

      Jack is wet. And pissed.

"I said, stay away from her!" Jack and Gwen still can shoot with the other hand.

The Weevil does not carry an umbrella though.

Their wet backsides - I used a spray bottle on them

I've done a prequel to the previous story! Someone had given a funny comment which inspired me. So here is how Jack and Gwen ended up with those umbrellas.

        A lazy Sunday at Torchwood:

Gwen takes a seat at the couch and eyes the donuts, while listening to Tosh and Owen absently:

Apparently they have caught some aliens from the planet Tsxywscrlthr or something:

Jack and Ianto join the party as well. Jack asks:

"Owen and Tosh, can you deal with the Tsxywscrlthrians on your own, Gwen and I have a Weevil to catch! Ianto - do we have any umbrellas? It's chucking it down today."

Ianto: "After you used your last umbrella as a sword to kill some aliens, we only have these two left I'm afraid. Sir."

Gwen: "You gotta be kidding me."

Jack: "Thanks, Ianto, this one will do nicely!"

Gwen: "You gotta be KIDDING ME!!!"

Jack: "Come on, Gwen, Weevils to catch!"

Jack: "Again this little girl is in trouble. Hey, Spikey, leave her alone or I'll shoot!"

          Spikey: "Um, what?!?"

Spikey: "I have no idea what you are talking about!"

Unfortunately, Jack doesn't speak Spikey's language. "Ianto, help me getting her away from him!"

Jack: "There, I have you. You are safe now."

          Jack: "Ianto, are you okay?"

          Ianto: "Just peachy!"

          But then...

          What happened?

          Ianto: "Noooooo! Jack!"

Tosh: "Nobody hurts Jack, and certainly not you!"

Jack awakes in Ianto's arms. "What happened?"
Tosh: "She was a shapeshifter, nasty things. Have you not watched 'Men in Black'? Did you not ask what a little girl is doing alone in the forest?"

Jack, Ianto: "How did you even come here? We have the SUV."

Tosh: "Why, on my cool bike of course!"

And the Spike worm? It thinks: "These are weird people. I shall go hide myself."

PS: The new alien featuring in this story got bought just a few days ago at Hamleys in London. I sent the link to the story to the office and they replied that they have laughed quite much and are happy it came into good hands with me

Wie geht's, Astra? I finally started watching Doctor Who and Torchwood late last year. So, when I discovered this thread I had much enjoyment! You do a superb job with the props and details. Danke schön.

Oh hi Nell! Long time no see! I'm good, travelling to the UK all the time. Last time I was there, I was in the studio to see John Barrowman record his new CD. That was awesome.

Glad you're enjoying "Torchwood" and "Doctor Who"! These are really great series. I have a smiliar action figure thread in the Doctor Who forum here: http://forum.gateworld.net/threads/8...ures-in-action

And a crossover with the Doctor and Jack O'Neill was also posted here in the Stargate thread: http://forum.gateworld.net/threads/4...1#post14156674

Do you watch "Arrow" as well? It is shot in Vancouver, and a lot of the former Stargate team are working for it, for example BamBam for the fight scenes. My new fandom, and it has John Barrowman (Captain Jack Harkness) in it I just got my first two figures...

              Thank you for the feedback!

I'll check out the new links! Thanks. No, I haven't seen Arrow yet. I'm a fan of Sherlock. Between Torchwood, Doctor Who and Sherlock I'm ready for a trip to the UK!

I got nominated for the ALS ice bucket challenge, but instead I made my figures wet. Hope that counts as well!
