just listened to the audiobook yet, but that sounded like pure john... (ok, it helps that he is reading it *lol*) well, obviously his early childhood stories are memories of his family, but he tells them.

if you want to read some of carole's stories about the booktour last week, I recommend her blog very funny and shows just how crazy the barrowman gene is *lol*
