Apparently it has been confirmed Merle Dixon will be returning for s3 i'm not sure if that means an actual return or like in Chupacabra but it's gonna be interesting

Also apparently the prison storyline will be over 2 seasons, so does that mean we already have the go ahead for s4?

In the comic, Rick ends up losing a hand being tortured by the Governor. My hope is that in the show, Merle is behind that. Maybe Merle has been running with the Governor and his people.

Yeah, I've seen that version from the DVD set. It is actually really good in black and white. Definitely a different feel to it.

I'm not really sure why this B&W episode business is a big deal. It's not hard to change your TV settings to no-colours, bam, black and white episodes.

Well he does look totally different but I won't judge anything until I see the finished product. So far all other departures from the comics have worked out great for the show so just because he looks different doesn't mean he won't make a good governor.
