i sure as hell hope i am wrong about this, but i have seen too many shows end with just god awful endings, dear god DO NOT let this be true, what if everything that has happened, EVERYTHING was just a coma dream from when rick got shot and, after all these years, he is still lying in his hospital bed in a coma still dreaming, and shane and lori were married and raised carl, negan is his doctor and all of the others were just people comming to visit other loved ones, ohhh, that would be just god awful.
