I think in they episode they mentioned that they made up something about radiation that would keep it empty for years so no one would know and they probably sent the mining stuff through in pieces that could fit through the portal.

For the baddies to come to Terra Nova won't they have to take control of Hope Plaza?

Wouldn't this upset the government or whoever is in power?

And the portal isn't big how will those mining rigs go through

I am still fuzzy on how Hope Plaza played out in this Finale, referring to if they simply convinced the Hope Plaza People to withdraw or if they took it by force.

This wouldnt upset anyone stuck in the Future since they obviously have something to gain too if the Portal goes both ways.

The Portal on Terra Nova just fixates where People pop-up, turned off you could basically send a Airplane through if the Portal on the 2149 side would be bigger.

They are probably looking at cost, popularity, etc. It is a bad sign they haven't already announced or filmed season 2 already.

I don't hate it. Don't put words into my mouth..... I just got turned off it a bit with all the teen angst stuff. And too much family / soap / drama.....The finale has me interested though.

It was minimal...and I think its what made the show. After all, its a show about people who relocated to a primal Earth.
