men aren't the only one's who use them... i do too... i only use a purse when i have no pockets.... otherwise i prefer i nice black leather wallet with a chain.... it's also a great to make sure your pockets don't get picked when you're in a big croud

With the right technique you can also pick the chained ones

not mine... the end of the chain that connects to the wallet is a key ring, and the hole in the is re-enforced with with metal brackets... and i connect the chain past my pocket to the belt loop closest to my crotch... i find the chain to be a reassuring weight on my thigh
