well, i've actually seen men in Lederhosen ( nearly typed Lederhoden - no more coffee for me please) and don't really like that outfit... don't ask me why. i prefer men in tights *rofl*

thank you i need to work with large TIFF-pics during my studies and my laptop always nearly dies then - though it's only 2 years old.

It's just what you're used to. Being born and raised in Bavaria, Dirndl and Lederhosen are a part of life for me. LOL, men in tights - there aren't many who can pull that off. Come to think of it, that's one outfit Kripke has not yet subjected Dean to, but who knows... There was this video from a con when they were discussing why it was always Dean who had to wear the costumes. I can dig out the link if you haven't seen it.

It's ironic, but the way technology moves a 2-year old computer nowadays is considered ancient.

I'm so with you on this one. I usually use mine 4-5 years. That's when things often start to go wrong. Although I've been pretty lucky so far, it's mostly stuff like the DVD drive that act up, not the harddisk.
