I saw the movie 'First Contact' today for about the 6th time.

DS9, The Nagus: Liked the ep. I don't have the dislike for Quark and the Ferengi that some people appear to have. I think they form a nice if hyperbolic counterpart to the socialist utopia that Earth appears to be.

Gotta love Eddington's final speech. He sums up the Federation quite well.

This evening I watched both "Chain of Command" TNG episodes. Such a great two-parter.

It's really a 1 parter for me. I skip straight to the 2nd half. Ah. Picard torture = audience delight.

"The Darkness and the Light" and "Rapture" are probably the ones from season 5 I've watched the most. Something about those two episodes. I really don't get tired of either one of them, even though there's very little "action." I'm about to watch TD&tL in about 45 minutes. That would be the fifth time I've watched it, I think. I wish we could've seen more of Furel and Lupaza later on in the series.

I'll probably watch "The Siege of AR-558" on Wednesday for Veteran's Day when I get the chance.

I love "Rapture" too, it's something about the whole destiny/prophecy/just out of reach thing. I love stuff like that, I'm really looking forward to getting to it in my rewatch.

Enterprise: Regeneration

Yeah I like Enterprise, so what! Watch it on Syfy all the time. A little crazy to have the Borg in this episode, but its great to see the story tied to the events of First Contact.

There are some incredible moments in that episode that I'll be writing about in the DS9 Superior thread.

Enterprise: Regeneration

There's nothing wrong with liking Enterprise. I liked seasons 3 and 4 especially with the Xindi Crisis storyline. Echoes of DS9 there.
