Thanks everybody for making me feel so welcome here, somtimes it can be intimidating to join a new thread when its been around for a while and every body knows each other, but you have made me feel welcome from the start.
My top three episodes although hard to pick from so many are:
1) For the Uniform: A brilliant story, brilliantly acted.
2) The seige at AR558: The grittiness of war were so well done.
3) In the pale moonlight: Garak and Sisko should have had more episodes together.
Honouable Mention: The sound of her voice: A nice episode with an emotional ending.
Favourite Characters:
1) Chief O'Brien - a good friendly well rounded character.
2) Ben Sisko - Sisko and Picard both sit at the top of the captains tree for me.
3)Garak - what is there not to like about Garak.
Honourable Mention: Weyoun - comedy and seriousness in good quantities.
Best line: Weyoun (after the Defiant comes through the wormhole back to DS-9) - Well... time to pack,
What is everybody elses favourite line?
LIKES: Half-Life, Half-Life 2, ST: DS-9, ST: TNG, Eric Clapton, GTA 4, SGU, MW + MW2, Red Dead Redemption,
Scarlett Johansson, Father Ted, The Portal Series, The Assassin's Creed Series, Trailer Park Boys.
DISLIKES: Reality T.V Shows and so called reality t.v stars, people who don't wear seatbelts,
99.999% of new Music out now, 80% of new Movies out now.

Last Movie Watched For The First Time: Dumbo (1941)

I know brother jelgate suggested Sacrifice of Angels, which is a great choice, but I was thinking of using the Season III Episode Distant Voices since brother USS Defgiant just did a brilliant review with also a ton of Background Information. It is too difficult to narrow down my favorite episodes of DS9...Jumper One has DS9 tournaments going on, and a few of us duke it out in there for our favorites, which is fun. Come join us, if you like.
Though I still am slightly bitter about The Wire not winning its season. That's the ultimate Bashir/Garak episode in my mind. I'm rooting for The Visitor in our current tournament.

I have it ranked as my either my #2 or #3 favorite/best episode from DS9 as well Lady Trek. Hey, has anyone noticed that Darren gave the series finale **1/2 and **, respectively?
Is this a more common interpretation of the finale than I realize? Because I thought it was two of the finest hours on television, ever. He gave things like 'Sacrifice of Angels' a **** rating, which I think also deserve it for sure, but 'What You Leave Behind' gets **** with ease!
Different strokes for different folks, and all that. But I really need to ask him what he thought was so lackluster...If you've seen a Jeff O'Connor or a JeffZero or a Jeff Zero or a JeffZeroConnor elsewhere on the net, there's a considerable chance it's me.Comment
