Ok, I need help with this one. What the heck song are they doing a parody of?.....

    New ENT Theme Song

    It's been a long run,
Since the first Star Trek premiere.
    It's been a gold mine,
It makes a profit every year.

And now I will join the ensemble cast,
    My career's on high.
    And I won't miss a single episode,
No, my contract's sure to bind.

    Cause I get paid,
    For the part.
I'm saying what the writers tell me.

    I get paid,
    Every week.
    Sometimes for just one scene.

    I'll get rich,
    From the show.
    Syndication will sustain me.

    I was cast,
    As a star.
    I get paid,
    I get, I get,
    I get paid.
    Paid for the part.

It appears that its supposed to be the main theme song - although it barely fits in. It might depend on whether its the earlier slow version or the faster version of the later seasons. You can tell its supposed to parody it from words which sound similar to the real words and the repeat of "I get."

Doesn't work well though - not as good as the others.

As Carl said, it's just a reworking of the original "Faith of the Heart" lyrics. Actually, I could get the lyrics to fit the tune, for the most part. It did kind of breakdown in the second last verse at the line - "Syndication will sustain me." It's not bad, apart from the last few lines. Much better than the Voyager parody. I couldn't make sense of that one.

Did you do it to the slow or faster version?

I hummed to the tune first, before I tried to sing it, and I found singing to the slower version worked better. I tried again a few minutes ago and was able to make the last verse fit okay. lol I kinda felt daft when I was doing it.

I tried to hum it, but I don't know how the song sounds.

Well, the ENT theme never sat well with me anyway. Rock ballads should stay out of Star Trek

Archer: Lieutenant Mayweather tells me we'll be arriving at Kronos in about eighty hours. Any chance he'll be conscious by then?

Phlox: There's a chance he'll be conscious within the next ten minutes... just not a very good one.

That's what I thought, after thinking about it I realized it must just be a parody of "Faith of the Heart". I actually like that song (the slower version) although like brother Brigadier General Pants said, 'rocks ballads do NOT belong in Star Trek'.

As painful as it might be, you have to watch ENT to hear the theme song "Faith of the Heart".

I found another TNG parody theme song, this one might be the best one yet. I will post it up in a few.

You are correct my friend, The Vor'cha class is not the ship that the Regent (Worf) from the Alternate Universe used. I have an interesting read on this exact subject. Make sure you read the bottom part, it has an interesting note about the ship.......

In the mirror universe, the Regent's flagship was a massive Klingon-designed cruiser that served as the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance's flagship for Regent Worf in the 2370s. In 2372, it led an assault fleet intended to recapture Terok Nor from the Terran Rebellion, but the ship sustained heavy damage in combat with the rebel warship Defiant and was forced to retreat. (DS9: "Shattered Mirror")

In 2375, the Regent's flagship was equipped with a cloaking device that was stolen from the IKS Rotarran in our universe. However, the cloak was sabotaged by Rom during its installation, disabling the entire ship and leaving it vulnerable to attack by the Defiant. The Regent was forced to surrender as a prisoner of war in the engagement. (DS9: "The Emperor's New Cloak")

The Regent's flagship appeared physically identical to the Negh'var-class battlecruiser, but it was scaled up several times when compared to the other ships in the fleet. The DS9 effects designers built a special thirty-foot-long model of the underside of the ship for use in the Defiant's strafing runs, in order to mke sure that the two ships appeared properly scaled.

I wholeheartedly agree with this thread as I believe DS9 is the best Star Trek series by far, hell that is why I have all 7 seasons on video! The best part of DS9 had to be the Dominion War, it just gave the series that pinch on reality which showed that even the Federation isn't perfect. My favourite episode has got to be the Seige of AR558, if you haven't watched recently watch it again and if you have watch again anyway it is just that great.
                                Spoiler:
So many colours. All the pretty horses.
                                What's he talking about?
I gave him some morphine for the pain. I may have given him a wee bit too much, but he was making it impossible for me to treat him.
Excuse me. Why am I lying here?
You have an arrow, Rodney, in your gluteus maximus.
Oh. Well, that sounds painful. Gluteus maximus. Glootus...maaxim ...Oh my God! That's my ass, isn't it?!
                                Aye.
