I thought it looked great. There was only one short moment when he was carrying Chloe through the Fortress where it looked like a guy in a silly costume... the rest was awesome.

I just wish they'd shown him fighting Clark a little more but I guess we have to wait for that.

Believe me, I'm sure we'll see more. This is just the beginning, and Clark really wants to get Chloe back.

I wasn't expecting too much, hell its smallville. Where Martian Manhunter is a black dude lol. But they did it justice. Didn't go overboard with a fake suit and didn't undercut him by making a completely different character just the name Doomsday.

But it was nice. I want to see more fights with him. They didn't get Doomsday's killing rage down. But I guess some things have to be tweaked to fit the story line.

Don't forget though, that Davis/Doomsday is still developing into what we will know him as. Just as Clark isn't yet the Superman we all know he will one day be. It is all a matter of time IMO.

What is the storyline their going for with Doomsday?

Is it the governments experiment gone wrong one, or that Doomsday was the weapon created by the Kryptonians or one of many story lines we've seen.

I am personally still hoping that we get a really clear shot of him soon. Like, in the next new episode, when Smallville returns in January.

Im just worried they will quell the story to fast, really they need 2 or 3 years to really flush it out. I Just hope Clerk doesnt die in the end, I know Doomsday did kill him in the comics! but he did come back after a few years!
