Nice to see Abbie's faith\belief in what they are doing has already grown, also we see them starting to discuss Crain's need for updated clothing.

To combat any potential schtick-iness in Ichabod's (Tom Mison) fish-out-of-water befuddlement, producers explained they avoid playing his confusion as a joke, a practice best exemplified when Ichabod has a sincerely heartfelt conversation with his NorthStar savior, Yolanda. "When you get really, really nice moments like that, the flouncing tart in me just wants to ham it up," Mison said. "That's the biggest challenge. Not indulging myself too much in the very, very funny scripts that we're given."

I was interested to see that Abbie's boss seems to be very clued in to idea that Crane is from the past and that the Roanoke colony is just around the bend and nearby and that if he lets Abbie take Crane and the boy back there, then they will be healed ... and her boss lets her. Just like that. When did he become a believer in some of this craziness?

I see some jealous feelings rearing their ugly head in the future with Abbie's former boyfriend-detective and him causing problems of some kind. Or he'll wind up being another victim of one of these horesemen.

I think there is going to have to be an upcoming episode where we get inside the head of the captain and the ex-boyfriend. The ex is suspicious, which makes sense being a cop\detective type of person. The captain doesn't ask very many questions, which makes me a little suspicious but he isn't getting in the way either.

I don't really think either one of them are evil as the boyfriend would already know stuff if he was and the captain would be more of an obstacle if he was.

I hope it doesn't turn into a jealousy thing. I think the show will remain stronger if Abbie and Crane avoid a romantic relationship and just stay partners\friends.
