Shows on SyFy that air on the East Coast air at the same time here on the West Coast example) it says 10/9c meaning that when it airs at 10pm on the east coast it airs at 9pm in the central timezone and 7pm here on the west coast pacific time, there is a rerun though right after whatever airs next.

true. but there are some folks on the west coast that can't watch it on its first airing. Just like I tape the second airing because my recorder is busy at 9pm with other shows
