Thank you! I'm a huge WT fan and I think so many of their songs fit them. I did wallies with "What have done?", "Jillian", and "All I Need" as well. And I did one with Sirenia's "Lost in Life".

I'm not familiar with that one. I personally think "Jillian" fits them really well and I'd love to see a video to it.

I used that song Jillian for a vid awhile ago....just not the couple you were hoping for :s

I like Within Temptation too!!! Gaaaah! Oh, and I used a song of theirs in a vid too. Sanctuary, but not shippy. More of a Magnus character expose, rather.

It still kinda fits. I just prefer Niko and Helen as friends. I like their banter, but I don't want to see them together. Niko is mine.

I think I've seen some of your others. I know I saw one for Solemn Hour and Somewhere and I've seen a Howling one for Henry.

So many of WT's songs fit this show and it's various characters. It's their Gothic nature.

Are any of you Within Temptation fans also going to AT6? WT is having an anniversary concert Nov 13 and I am thinking of taking the train from London to Belgium after AT6 to see the concert but hoping to find someone to go with

Yes it is a convention with Amanda herself...just you and your closest AT fans spending a weekend with the queen herself. There is a charity auction and all profits go to S4K and another charity - forgive me the name escapes me at the moment. There are several Q and A sessions with Amanda where you can ask her anything and just general goofiness which you would expect from an event with Amanda It is put on by Gabit Events. I am sure if you do a search you can easily find their website but I am pretty sure they are sold out for this year

She doesn't actually hold it herself. It's run by fans for fans, but she does make herself present each time they hold it.

I've never been (though it's my list of trips to take soon) but I hear that it's a good congregation of women that's less about commercialism (as many sci-fi conventions are focused on earning revenue), and more about celebrating an incredibly strong and beautiful woman and the many many women she inspires.

You should check out the Gabit Attendees Thread. They'll be able to tell you more about it.

Actually, the way I said it made it sound so impersonal, when reports suggest quite the obvious. From what I've gathered, the GABIT team (who organizes the event) started the conventions for the sole purpose of getting AT to hop the pond and visit her UK fans. That said, they work directly with AT (or her agent or whatever) so that they schedule it specifically on dates that she will be available to devote her time to it. I get the sense that while it's something she goes out of her way to attend, she's not really involved in the planning and execution of it.

I don't know if there's ever been one she's had to cancel on. That's something you could definitely ask over in the Attendees thread. Some of the Gabit team posts there, and they're really the ones who would know.
