"The Five"

While leading a covert meeting in Rome, Magnus (AMANDA TAPPING) encounters Nikola Tesla (JONATHAN YOUNG), an old friend from her past who confides that the Cabal has come to exact revenge on her for the events in "Fata Morgana". But Magnus realizes that Tesla’s loyalties may not be as steadfast as in their college days when the two became part of an exclusive order called The Five – a group in which each is connected by a secret they have carried for decades.

Ohh, The Five sounds really interesting. Maybe the secret that connects them is longevity, since it sounds like Tesla may be as old as Magnus. I wonder if James Crick may also be a member. I think AT said episode 7 was going to be a huge turning point in the season, so maybe this is also when Ashley finds out about Druitt? Oy, I'm going to drive myself crazy with speculation, why can't it be October yet!

I have to agree with Martin. That roof scene looks awesome as it is. Final product? Well, I'd hate to say that it'll blow my mind since I will be blown away for ~44 minutes every week (except 12 days from now ), but yeah...

That's a very interesting idea, that each of the Five have their own Sanctuary. I wonder if they'll talk about how influential these Five may have been in world events, like Helen's relationships with people like Churchill and Einstein that are hinted at in pictures. Hmm...I've got more speculating to do.

I'm so excited abut Sanctuary...and that excitement just keeps building and building...I think I might burst at this rate!!

Since Tesla was born in 1856 he would have to be "cursed" with longevity as well. So, apparently he must have faked his death in 1943 and is living under an assumed name. I wonder who the other three are. I like the idea of five "immortals" running the sanctuaries.
