The enthusiasm is wonderful to see, but, how can you write fic when the characters haven't even been established. IE: Damian said he is going to utilize Amanda's humor and comedic talent more, but will Helen's humor be dry (like Jack O'Neill) or more direct (like Vala)?

Must say though, it will be interesting to see how close the authors come to canon. Maybe they really are psychic fic writers.

I thought so too, but I checked it out last night, and it's interesting. The interpretation of the author is such that there's enough room for it to be accurate. And, if not, we can consider it an AU fic.

Well, like I said in my previous post - this has to be a record of some kind. Sanctuary's first fanfic, and it's an AU story to boot.

The author definitely relies heavily on the history of the time period to tell her story. As a result, I think there's a pretty decent chance that she's written something that won't be too jarringly out of context once the series starts. The part I think will prove problematic in the end is

that Jack is living in her family's home.

I think it's pretty cool that the writer was willing to give it a shot.
