Disney has announced that Avengers writer/director Joss Whedon will return to write and direct Avengers 2.

That sounds pretty darn good to me.

I'm glad, Joss Whedon has done great TV but he is a good comic book writer as well so its good to have someone who knows comics at the lead.

I´m so glad that they didn't go with that alternate opening, it has completely the wrong tone for the movie plus I´m sick to death of the whole "X hours/days" earlier thing.

I wish they would show it again in theaters here in Iceland, I would so love to see it on the big screen again.
