I think that's because if Sci-Fi didn't want it it was just going to be a cheaply made movie movie.

I think you mean cheaply made, made for TV movie. You're probably right, too. I can't stand made for TV movies. They feel kind of...undone, or something. They're better off making it a mini series.

Oh please, Farscape had a lower budget then SG and managed to just blow SG out of the water in terms of production values.

Every episode of SG takes place on the exact same planet that looks like Canadian wilderness. They rarely spruce it up...

Ive also noticed that there are very few Farscape fans here...granted the majority actually hate SG but still...
