Frell... Now that I finished FarScape, I'm going to start feeling the effects of having no more new episodes in the immediate future.

It's interesting, too... For the first two nights following my first viewing of "Bad Timing", I've had FarScape dreams.

In the first, I saw Pilot's eye transparent against space, and Moya with another Leviathan (exactly like Moya, except much smaller--like Talyn when he's first born), which was waving one of her "flippers" at the larger Moya like a dolphin (on watching the second episode, "I, E.T.", I made the observation that Moya looked like a whale).

I forgot what the second dream was about. All I remember is that Pilot was in it.

Starburst, as I understand, has more episodes per disk, more special features, and they're less expensive.

They are a third of a season per volume (1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 2.1, 2.2, ect), four discs with two or three episodes per disc on the first three discs in each volume and the fourth disc is all special features. My undersatnding is that they have more commentary tracks on them (you can tell some of them were recorded concurrent with the seasons and some were done well after the fact) and they run about $20 each volume in the states. 4.2 was released tuesday.

The Starburst editions do contain more extras than the box sets with all the episodes and they are less expensive.

Damn me and my having to buy school books but my Historical Geology text book was higher on my priority list this week than the next volume so I was hoping someone here had gotten it.

I watch most of my TV these days on DVD and went through the first three and a third seasons in a five day period all compressed. It's taking all my willpower not to go out and buy the next one. Because I decided to get into the series in the last two months it seemed to me that the Starburst editions were a better deal than the season sets.

I'm curious. Does StarBurst 4.1 still have the bloopers that are on the standard set 4.1 disk?

I was going to go for buying the StarBurst sets, but I really wanted those bloopers.

All I can say is thank god for the Starburst Editions. The regular season sets were just way too expensive in the past.

The only bloopers I've seen so far in the Starburst editions is a ten minute reel on one of the season 2 volumes which has bloopers from season 1 and season 2. That is unless there are easter eggs on these things. I only found one easter egg and that's the second Dog with Two Bones commentary.

I think they should include the complete bloopers thing (seasons 1 - 3, as there're no bloopers from season 4 as far as I know) in 4.3.
