    No blood fights

I like this series but we seen to have fight scenes with people getting cut down with swords and not a drop of blood seems a little un realistic

welcome to the world of PG-13, where genocide is fine as long as there's no blood.

Yeah, it's a TV airing issue, they most likely want to avoid driving advertisers away. In the comics they showed a through-and-through headshot in its full goriness (among others), so Joe clearly isn't the one who has a problem it.

It's not a bloodless show. It's not Starz's "Spartacus" either; blood doesn't spurt and go flying with every slash attack, but unlike many PG-13 movies, you typically see blood on a sword when it's pulled out of someone. Take this scene as an example: https://youtu.be/Ygv5tIltLoM?t=103 Three people get slashed with that sword before a fourth is run through. You don't see any blood when the first three go down, not even on the sword, but when the sword is pulled from the fourth's body it is very visibly covered in blood.

I don't remember an instance where that's not the case, save when the sword is used against an Android. So while you can critique the realism of the amount of blood that appears in the show, I'm not sure that there's any basis to claim that not a drop of blood is ever in scenes like this.

Here's another one, by the way: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9bX_QuoMIik The initial fighting happens off-screen, but again the blood on his sword is very clearly visible.

Just for fun, here's an example of PG-13 censorship at work: https://youtu.be/G8rJMX8sprs?t=78 Blood is typically allowed in a much more limited fashion. You can show certain wounds, but you can't have blood flying all over the place and weapons typically remain bloodless when they're pulled from someone as is the case for Wolverine's claws.
