      Does anyone know where the 'Earth' section was filmed? Those rolling hills, the luscious green grass, those odd trees, the strong breeze....

          Well he didn't exactly accomplish the death humanity did he? I would say not, and then in the end he took his own life rather than being killed by the humans.

          all in all a BIG fat 0 for cavil... lol!!

            in the podcast ron said it was canada but it was heavily altered with computers to make it look like africa.

            and according to videos on hulu it was freezing during the filming. you can see the cast wearing huge winter jackets between takes.

              If the conquest of the world through ASP.NET wasn't taking up most of my time, I'd have watched BSG: The Plan by now. I'm somewhat curious if included specifics.

                not sure where to put this
                i got to thinking after re-watching the plan . keep daybreak in mind

                i noticed that when the hybrid is announcing the progress reports you see what looks like a temple

                this tagged for size



                now you may recognize the design if you are a fan of ancient earth history. it resembles temples made by the mayan people



                so i wonder if there's a connection so how ??? genetic memory

                      After rewatching Daybreak part 3 in HD yesterday, i gotta say i'm amazed at the amount of detail they put into the battle scene alone. The visual's were just amazing. I'd go as far as to say in just that first hour alone are some of the best visual's of any tv show and alot of movies, atleast that i've seen. My only complaint are the scale of the nuclear explosion's on the colony. The colony was massive, it made Galactica look like a thorn in its side. But the explosion's were easily 3 times bigger than the colony it self. But considering how much detail went into the rest of the battle, that minor detail is forgivable.

                                Someone mentioned a problem with giving the cylons the base star I think. But early in season 4 it was made clear by one of the lady cylons that she had removed their inhibitors that prevented them from having free will, and I think because of that they were able to take the ship and leave at the end and make their own lives.

                                At least that solves it for me, and I didn't feel that bad that they did that becasue they did earn their freedom.
