    LOL Mongoletsi, I just posted the same thing a while ago at the end of the thread for the finale episode. As I said there, my friday night seems emptier with no BSG or Stargate.

    The only good thing being I can spend more time on Gateworld!

      Yeah, grim isn't it. My brother and I have got used to having our regular BSG sessions. But now it's over. What's to keep us from one another's throats now?

          Pharaoh, I am very much undecided on Caprica, particularly as all of the hints on the direction of the show give an impression that it will be very light on the sci-fi aspects, and heavy on the drama. Yes it takes place on another planet, and deals with the development of the cylons, but the hints by the producers are all heavy on "appealing to a wider audience" and "emphasis is on characterization and drama rather then..." which when all put together don't have me believing this is going to fill the current longing for some slam bang classic sci-fi type shows.

              When i realised BSG wasnt on i just headed to the nearest club with my mates, got drunk {mod snip} that was a good night!!

                  Whole this is America and Hollywood, there will another remake of Battlestar Galactica.

                      I do not know, give the series to someone who can plan it all out and know where they are going with it, and it will instantly be better than what we ended up.

                      Only the mini series and the first season were amazing and be hard to live up to, and certain episodes of the rest were amazing, the rest were average or lower, most of the fourth season was very poor. And the fact the final makes episodes from past largely poor or irrelevant.

                      It would not be hard to make a better series and more satifying series the current BSG.

                        Thankfully (and not by design) BSG ending coincided with me getting a job starting last monday, after four months out of work (which sucked). This Easter weekend is going to leave me entirely unfit for work next week, starting on Thursday.

                        Funny thing is though, I watched most of BSG S1 at like 6am, chilling out post-club. Added a whole new dimension. Bear in mind I never saw the mini-series, so didn't know about Boomer's real ID!!
