    The easy way out was lee had Pegasus supplies unloaded to the feet along with the fighters. That way a smaller ship has all the resources and backups of a larger ship.

    Also if Galactica took alot of damage being in the atmosphere it stands to reason that is why Battlestars don't usually do that and since Galatica did it to release the vipers it stands to reason only large ships can do that.


    Also Galatica is easier to repair being a simpler ship and the post apoclyptic-industrial look is one of the reasons for the shows sucessful look.

    In other words I don't think the writers screwed up at all, I think it works out well.

      Back on the topic of the un-used pod. Where were they doing "buisness" tonight, the circle? It looked like they were in the un-used "musem" area, as the interior was definatley the garage/prep area, and they were near the launch tubes.

      Why can't they start loading that area up with vipers and equiptment? Looks fine to me!

          they were IN a launch tube for the actual carrying out of sentence, but I couldn't tell if they were on the starboard (museum) or port side. The room they held the "trials" in looked as though it might be attached to a hangar deck, and I didn't see any birds in evidence, so I think you may be right about it being the starboard side....

            It was the Portside. Jammer's body was expeled from the Port Pod durring the zoom out.

              Say, yeah, you're right. Definitely port side launch tube. Maybe the tubes on the starboard side ARE out of commission then.....

                When they zoomed out, Galactica's hull looks... smashed. You'd think CHIEF tyrol would have better things to do. Like say. oh i dunno.. DAMAGE CONTROL???!?!? Get to it, fattie. Fix the fracking ship, fattie. Psycho-fracker. Mister "I married and knocked up the girl who killed my first girlfriend".

                      The exterior Damage looked good indeed.

                      And they should do recruitment posters showing Galactica falling through the atmosphere, saying "Join Adama, He knows what he's doing"

                      But as far as the starboard pod, IT IS un used, i have been ren ting season 1 on DVD, when they did training, it "looked" like the port pod, since they land on the rear of the pod, and the pod was on the left side of the ship (aka Port)

                        anyway...both battlestars should have been spared
                        now with only 1 battlestar (heavily damaged at that) the fleet's impotent once again
                        i wouldn't say impotent.
