    More on it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Munich_Agreement

What do you mean by forbidding of slovak independence? Slovaks formed Czechoslovakia freely. That they've broke away in 1939 (just one day before Hitler invaded Czech) and formed a Nazi Slovak State is another matter and it wasn't becouse independence on Czechs but couse Slovak leader Tiso supported Hitler. Why would they reconnect with Czech in 1945 if they would been some kind oppresed from czech side?

But stop it. This is BSG thread not thread about Czech-Germany stuff )

Right, we should let it be... just one last sentences to the slovaks.

1945 Stalin stood ante portas so they hadn't really the choice, 1990 they had and they have chosen for their independence, guess it hasn't changed a lot since then.

Ok, back to the topic, do you think the Cylons would have allowed them to keep the Galactica and the Pegasus... or any military?

Really a hard choice Rosylin has to made, I mean on the one hand accepting the offer means sacrificing people. Not accepting it may result in the death of even more people on board of the ships and back in the colonies which would be practically abandoned this way.

If this rumor is really true.
