The aliens leaving Z'ha'dum are a big part of what will come for the B5 universe. To quote Delenn, "There are always new battles to be fought against the darkness. Only the names change." This is definitely applicable to Earth and President Clark as well as the Shadow servants evacuating Z'ha'dum.
I have to say that I really enjoyed seeing Z'ha'dum explode. It cemented the idea that the insane cycle the Shadows and Vorlons were caught up in is really over.

- Won't Sheridan be upset when he finds out Delenn ordered the war?
"Listen, honey, while you were out I went to the store and I bought some new candles, you know how we're always running out, and Lennier took the cat in to be cleaned, and oh, did I mention I was directly responsible for the deaths of two hundred and fifty thousand of your best friends and fellow officers? Pass the sugar."She'll never tell him.
Because it's over...what would be the point, except to ruin what they have now.
- The reality is...in war, one does what one does. Afterward, as we heal, we try to forget what we did, and what they did. He killed as many Minbari as he could; she was on the Grey Council that directed the war. One doesn't go into it.

With Londo, there are times I can absolutely smack him... and then there are times he's actually a sympathetic character. I agree that he can never make up for his actions. There's too much blood on the scales for that to happen. And what will happen to him and his people is a direct consequence of their involvement with the Shadows. You can't expect to make a deal with the Devil and expect there to be no consequences.
But that's why he's a good tragic character. After seeing War Without End I & II, we already know that he ends up with a Keeper (we saw one in Epiphanies). It's his changes in this season and season 5 that show how and why he ends up with a Keeper that makes him a truly sympathetic character.
