I thought your glorious leader Trump was going to stop this.
    At least he is trying:
U.S. trade representative says no return to TPP deal and wants bilateral deals in Asia
Other news on this front is mixed at best. Several weeks ago, Trump or the administration said they were backing down on the promise of pulling out of NAFTA as well, but since then, he's said they want to renegotiate it.

Trade deals that hurt the US is one of the biggest reasons I & many others support Trump, if he backs down them, or can't pull them off, he will lose a lot of support.

Oh why is the USA doing a $110 billion dollar weapons deal with saudis when those people are the ones that did 9/11?

To be fair, the deal was initiated by Obama, not trump, trump is just the president of the time to put the stamp on it.
So, either Obama is arming US enemies, or trump is creating jobs, right?

Well now he is on the way to Israel so will he change his tune when over there?

So everyone has to play on the US playing field?
            That's communism.

You're right, the US doesn't have the legal right to mandate products be made here. But we do have the right to levy tariffs and taxes so that it costs a company more to make it or perform the service outside the US than it does inside.
And every other nation on earth has the right to do -exactly- the same to you, watch your non unique exports just vanish, creating more of a financial hole for the US.
I do believe in capitalism. But also believe that the nation has a right to act in its own best interests, and that right supersedes the idea of unrestrained capitalism.
That's not capitalism, it is at best, capitalism if it helps -me-.
It is harmful to the nation as a whole to outsource production and labor because it directly harms our own workers and manufacturing/service providing industries.
Which exactly the same object do you personally buy, the 5 dollar one, or the 10 dollar one?
Practical experience of the the past 30+ years shows the detrimental effects "free trade" has had on our workers, and therefore on the country as a whole.
That's not free trade, its the general decline of "entry level" manufacturing and retail as they are no longer "needed".
            Wake up Annoyed, wake up.

He wants to destroy all the robot workers

We have entire warehouses here that are fully automated. They can take in stock, put it away and pick it up again when it's time for it to be shipped out entirely without human intervention.

All we need now are driverless vehicles and the manufacturing/delivery process can be almost completely automated.

If Annoyed had his way everything would be done by humans. Can you imagine an entirely manual telephone exchange trying to handle the amount of data that passes through the systems these days?

We should give him a horse, his entire skill set would be useless.

As a human on the other end of such systems, they suck arse. Pallets of stock packed according to space rather than aisle, damn annoying.

The system is cool -in theory-, they need to seriously tweek the logic of the system however.

The warehouse where they keep the chocolate is called The Building. It's eight storeys tall and the size of two football pitches. There are no human workers inside The Building, apart from the occasional engineer for maintenance.

Robots pack everything away and pick it up again. Humans are only involved with delivering things to The Building and driving them away again up to a week later.

We should put googly eyes on all the robots to make them look more friendly.

And once you completely automate that system, what do you do with the human workers who lose their jobs? How do they continue to put food on the table, provide housing, medical care and so forth for themselves?

Or do you just tell them "sorry, you're useless now, sucks to be you" ?

Big-game hunter crushed to death as dying elephant takes revenge

Theunis Botha, 51, had just fatally wounded a female elephant before he and his hunting mates were set upon in Gwai, Zimbabwe

The dying female managed to pick up Botha with her trunk before collapsing and crushing the hunter to death.
Good for the poor little elephant!

..... Automation isn't a new thing.. New industries will form that require humans.

People used to grind flour by hand before windmills were invented.

Combine Harvesters displaced hundreds of workers on each farm. Somehow the industry didn't collapse.

I thought you Republicans were all about efficiency and reducing costs?
