Just so nobody mistakes this, let me clearly say that I do not advocate nor approve of assassination.
But I will say that as polarizing as the LSoS is, I'm sorta surprised that nobody has taken a shot at him.

I've read about various nut jobs trying to gain access to the grounds; scale the fence, land a helicopter, etc... I don't recall any articles saying someone was apprehended for trying to take a potshot.

I am indeed not american, probably not a big surprise. I feel a deep pity for the american voter, as not even a protesting 3rd party vote is worth it.

IMHO Hillary is the only serious choice. Not a great choice by any metric, but at least you're electing a president. Donald Trump seems to have escaped from the zoo. Excellent choice if your ideal is to burn down the system and anything resembling it though. It'll destroy politics for at least 4 years. Consequences may last much longer. Gary Johnson is a joke. I'm not sure where they found him, i wouldn't be surprised if he was a random joe they plucked off the street.

It's a horrible election with horrible choices. Ideally you could vote an option C: None of the Above. But IMHO Hillary is the least bad.

Lastly, I simply refuse to believe Bernie would've been elected. If hell freezes over, maybe. This isn't the only political thread I've followed, and the way i see Americans talk about socialism just prevents me from believing a scenario where a self-proclaimed socialist becomes president.

Shady when it comes to emails, national security, and a certain attack on a certain Embassy...is dishonest, two faced, ready to make war at a drop of the hat (though not as crazy as Trump by far), Cares little about the plight of indigenous peoples (the South Dakota Access Pipeline issue, I wonder why she might be so silent on the issue...$$$...oh right). She's no FDR. But when compared to someone who can be as bad as Buchanan...I guess she's the best we have right now.

As for Gary Johnson. He was the governor of New Mexico and actually did a fairly great job there. As long as a Congress can keep some of his nuttiness at bay, he isn't that crazy. Libertarians, however, don't have much experience in foreign policy...mainly because they are heavily anti-imperialists with shades of isolationism.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the thwarted terrorist attack on American soil....oh wait, that was an attempted attack against a mosque. So I guess that doesn't count. We should ban all white people from entering the country! They could be terrorists!!!

What we don't get is how -anything- Trump has said and done could lead you to the conclusion that he is "better". If you Only care about burning down the system, vote Trump. When you have burned it down, and everything goes sideways though, accept that Trump supporters did it.

Make a list between the two, Trump BS and Hillary BS.

So far Annoyed's the first person to convince me Trump is the best choice for him. Most arguments for trump support i've seen are either Type A or B:

A: a total nutjob excuse.
B: He's less bad than hillary

Since i disagree with the type B reason (but it's the exact same reasoning i use), that leaves a Type A reason. They're often plain tinfoil-hatting. Annoyed only recently added a Type C for me.

I've seen what happened with Brexit. I know one Silvio Berlusconi. I don't need to think long to see what the consequences of a Trump presidency will be. I can't help that the choice this election is so ****ty, i don't disagree that Hillary is a ****ty choice. It's just that Trump in my book isn't even a choice.

White people are never terrorists. They are militias or mentally ill, but never terrorists.
And in no article on these guys I ever saw them labelled as terrorists -- if they had been darker skinned, that would have been the first word in use.

Besides, they were probably all white guys -- they are almost always mentally ill with a bad youth and paranoid ideas. Never a real threat.
