This is something that seems to be a lost art among you youngsters. Quite often in life, you have to make a guesstimate as to what is going on without really having enough information. To me, it seems that most of the time, you folks won't accept information unless some talking head tells you it.

And you can take as a given that much of the time, neither political party nor the govt. itself won't give all the facts.
If you were a Dem, wanting to import a solid democratic voting base, or a Rep, wanting to import cheap labor to keep labor costs low, would you publicize it?

Forget what the government says and let's look at what you are saying. You are saying that someone will vote solely based on which party made it easier for them to get here. So basically you believe that Hispanics are not individuals but a monolithic group dictated by a group based agenda. That Hispanics as a whole act as a whole and any deviation is purely an exception. Basically saying that Hispanics don't (or rather can't) pick a political party based on their own individual political outlook and preferences.

But let's look at the facts, Like how the US let in every Cuban who can make it here on makeshift ships without background checks nor documentation and yet they don't vote democrat anymore than any other demographic. Then there are Puerto Ricans, grant it they are Americans but they are culturally similar. The fact that they readily vote republican shows that culturally, Hispanics align more towards conservatism than not. Then there are Venezuelans who are flirting with the Republican party. The fact that nearly half of hispanics voted for Bush Jr. for his second term and Reagan also got the same numbers back in the 80s. That these numbers are clearly replicated among other immigrant groups.

Another fact is that the GOP and your favorite radio show hosts and Fox News pundits malign Hispanics on a regular basis. Another fact is that Reagan and Bush Jr. never maligned them at all. There is that old refrain, you can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.

So no, your racist idea that Hispanics or any immigrant group would just automatically and unthinkingly vote democrat "just because" is patently and demonstrably false. It robs people of their own agency denying critical thinking to them "just because". Talk about dehumanizing a people, this is a textbook example of that. What you fail to see are the facts and these aren't "Government fed facts" anymore than laws of thermodynamics are "government fed facts".

In this instance, you are being racist.
