        join the club,

        http://thedailyshow.cc.com/videos/8x...s-announcement

        it is just a guess as to who might take his place, but the other night he had on Baseem Usef

        he was on the other night as a middle east specialist, so , like I said, it is just a guess, more than likely I am wrong.

        other appearances.

          It would have been nice if he could have continued for another two years and another Presidential election. He is an excellent interviewer not afraid to ask the hard questions, and even though he obviously leans left, he never shied away from revealing the hypocrisy of both sides.

            I'll miss him. Whoever steps in will have some very big shoes to fill.

              I'll be in the minority and say meh. Yes he is entertaining but its only a comedian on a comedy show

                yes and no;

                yes, he is a comedian, and he tells jokes and makes up entertaining stories, even very funny ones sometimes, as the old saying goes, dying is easy, comedy is hard.

                but,

                no, he's not just a comedian in a comedy show, or to quote president Sheridan;

                he is a one man version of our science fiction genre', like Isaac Asimov said;

                  Sprouting clichés does not really change my opinion. Their is nothing that makes Jon Stewart different from the other late night shows. Their is nothing wrong about he mocks politicians but it doesn't make him any different

                      Jessica Williams FTW. She's brilliant and witty, and easy on the ears and eyes.

                        well, I cn only hope he does better than he did in the past, the only reasons I can think of for him to be johns replacement I ;

                        1. because he is so young.

                        2.he is black and foreign, and hopefully he will help carry viewers over to the nightly show.

                        3. he is a comedian, though that last one has yet to be proven.

                          Turns out, she removed herself from consideration mere days after Stewart's retirement announcement. Should be interesting, at least, to see how Noah does.
