F -- For the sake of more space and less clutter, my sister and I decided to put doors on our bookcases. However, this means we have to make choices about which books to keep in the open and which to hide behind a door. For me, the choice is easy: interesting cover, keep -- boring cover, hide. Therefor, most of my sister's books she used when studying Assyriology are going behind a door.
G -- Given that some do have interesting covers and content, like the one she just handed to me: Old Babylonian Marriage Law by Raymond Westbrook (Department Near Eastern Studies, The Johns Hopkins University). My sister wanted to do her thesis on marriage and women in Old Babylonia but there weren't enough sources to get it done. The research isn't extended enough yet. So instead she chose something about Hamurabi's law. Equally interesting in my opinion.
H -- Have plenty more to read, cause she seems to have hidden her books from me too well. Though the course to learn how to decypher clay tablets might be one to read when I have more time.
