Gone with the Wind or Les Miserables? Which would be easier for you to read?

Gone With the Wind. I usually don't read translated works if I can help it (ironic since I'm a translator, but I only do non-fiction) and while I've read French classics like Verne, Hugo and Dumas in the original, my French is far too rusty for me to make the effort now.

Can you read books in Blackletter/Gothic script?

No, although I should. Old Finnish books and newspapers were printed in a similar font called Fraktur. I can read short bits of it, and have from an old law book that was printed when Finland was an autonomous Grand Duchy of Russia (between 1809 and 1918). I've also read bits of the Doomsday (or Domesday) book, the original was completed in 1068 (it's a land surveying record commissioned by William the Conqueror).

Do you read non-fiction for pleasure, or only if you must for work or study?

I prefer to use crayons because I own more of those than finger paints and plus they are less messy!

Are you in a romantic relationship?

I guess, married almost four years. The level of romance varies but we're reasonably happy together I think.

I went to the movies on January 31st and I went to go see "Les Miserables"

When it snows. Woud your rather shovel the first few inches that falls then shovel the other snow that falls the next day or just wait and shovel it all at once?

I live where it only snows for like one day and it melts. I usually go out with my 16 year old daughter and play in it.

When you are alone in your home do you leave the bathroom door open when you use the toilet?

I can play chess but I do much better at checkers

Obvious answer, clothes. I'm a smart casual kind of girl, so I guess straight pants. I very rarely wear skirts and they must reach at least mid-calf if not my ankles.
