What?? What religion can be proven (or disproven) by science?

Following a line of conversation is beyond you.
We were not speaking of religion, we were speaking of the origins of the universe.
Let there be light implies that someone said it, a divine force, a conscious entity.
The big bang requires no such agency, it is the essence of **** happens, and falls within the scientific parameter of observable event. We cannot repeat it, but there is no reason to assign any form of divinity to it either.

And how do you know that the Big Bang wasn't God's mechanism for creating the universe? You can't possibly know, either way. I'm not saying I believe in that, but I have to admit the possibility for the simple reason that we can't know if there is a god or not.

Speaking with no religion in mind here, one can be proven within scientific parameters, the other cannot.

And then the discussion of First Cause comes into play. But that still doesn't answer the question. How is it crazy?
