Nice idea, and now I feel slightly guilty for not mentioning any significant charitable action with my hypothetical £22 million. I'd probably give a fair bit to various wildlife and military charities, though the other thing I'd like to do if I had that money is fund (and perhaps write...) a low budget SF film or web series too.

Also, in the interests of full disclosure I feel I should say that despite my avatar I am not in fact a Stargate with a sword sticking through it but a man.

Its actually an interesting trend. On average science fiction has more viewers but when you go into the fandom aspect of shows females tend to outnumber males
