    What do people think of the so called "Doomsday Clock?"

    Do you like me think it's mindless proaganda or do you think it serves a very real purpose.

      I think it has it's place in science and popular culture, but it's often relegated to the purpose of propaganda tool.

              The Doomsday Clock is a not to be taken literal. It's just there to remind us that humankind has the power to exterminate itself, and might just use their power to make a point.

              As long as it's not hitting midnight we're safe.

                    And a bit of history on the Doomsday Clock on wikipedia, however there's another source you could use - doomsdayclock.org - though it hasn't been updated since the last time the minutes were changed in 2002.
