Changing subject... RANT... The following comments came about because as I was trying to help my 90+ aged aunt shop for toilet paper, she inadvertently picked up a mega-roll pack (with 6 rolls for $16.99 USA), instead of the smaller sized regular rolls (with 9 rolls for about $7.99 USA). I couldn't explain to her the size difference, because she hadn't shopped in several years (her hubby did, but he passed away recently, so now she has to make the grocery orders instead). Anyway, she complained the toilet paper she had was too sand-papery, and NOT soft enough. So, she opted for the super softest (dust producing) paper rolls out there. She also wanted "baby wipes" but I think that was for #2, not #1. Store gave her the anti-bacterial hand wipes, instead... ugh!
So, here's the rant for both grocery stores AND toilet paper manufacturers...
GRIPE...!!! Toilet paper now comes in SUPER-MEGA and MEGA sized rolls. Grocery stores don't even sell the adapters for the bigger sizes. So, home abodes will need to get new holders to MAX out on these sizes. Even the former roll holders are NOT big enough to hold these rolls in. People now need to get an open standing holder with non-binding (open) roll holder at top.
I'm all for extra toilet paper as back-up stock supplies, but some households do NOT have the space (tiny bathrooms!) nor the finances to support this insane SUPER-SIZED roll. My mega roll sits on a shelf, NOT on a toilet roller, because it does NOT fit. Even the shelf space shrunk with other items sitting beside it that should be OFF the floor and higher up.
So, now I have to buy an open toilet paper storage holder just to keep the rolls in the bathroom in case the main roll runs out of paper? Need soft tissue, too, which produces paper dust all over the floor. At least the storage holders contained some of the dust, but apparently not any more. Say "hello" to the new dusty world of (unsanitary) hygiene.
This world is getting nutzo.
But aside from the "mega" sizes attempting to make the standard "regular" (or normal) sizes go obsolete, next step might end up banning toilet paper altogether... and don't think that won't ever happen... most countries where toilet paper became scarce did so, because of socialists/communists blocking it with "shortages" (such as Venezuela)... thus, resorting to what? hoarding? using washcloths and laundering those just like diapers?
Is this a fast-track way of the companies to force going by ways of the GREEN NEW DEAL, ahead of even such a system being enforced on all peoples?
What happens when the water supplies go dry, too...? Wiping diarrhea off one's own rump takes forever, and never makes one hygienically clean enough without that extra gel cleaner or *flushable* wipe that should not even be flushed down some pipe. Bag the used wipe instead and place it into the garbage for land fill. Smells awful... and some respiratory infections can come from breathing in those airborne fumes.

I like the super mega rolls. You don't have to change the roll as often, and it lessens the chance of finishing task at hand and realizing you're out of a crucial item.
You do have to get the oversize holder, though.
Venezuela's issues go beyond TP though. They've adopted a system which doesn't work.
Oh, and in case you haven't noticed, the world has been nutzo for quite some time now.
What other candidate had the same agenda as Trump, including his stances on Trade, Immigration, pulling out of detrimental treaties, and so forth?
None.
Probably for good reason too.
They weren't thinking about lining their pockets or installing their royal family in the white house, to corrupt what it stands for.

A recurring theme living with someone who "forgets" to replace the roll when it runs out.
I am toast every single time.

You may not agree, but there are plenty of folks who agree with and support the agenda Trump is pushing.
Seriously, even though I live alone, I have a subconscious habit of checking supplies upon entering the room. It's as automatic as closing the lid when done to prevent the cats from either falling in or drinking the water.
No, the scam is the liberal media presenting nonsense as facts. Such as the climate change scam.
How do you experience weather and how the seasons change?
Any differences with when you were a lot younger?
Are any of your summers hotter than when you remember?
Winters colder?
Spring non-existent?
Autumn who?
If you don't want to believe the scientists, try it out yourself.

All have gone both ways. We've had a run of easy winters, and we've had a few nasty ones as well. It's all over the map. Same with summers. We've had extremely cool and wet ones, and we've also had very hot & dry summers.
And in any case, a human lifespan is not long enough to be able to measure anything climate related.
I have no doubt that the climate is changing. It's a natural process that has going on since the Earth has been here. We've had ice ages and warming periods over and over in the past. The Earth's distance from the sun is not fixed, it varies. This obviously will affect weather. I don't deny change. What I don't buy into is that mankind is causing it.
But these changes are very slow, taking hundreds of years or more. Far too slow to gauge anything by human memory.
