so where is he getting the supplies *from*? Doesn't the earth Cantina have a corner on the rum market?

I wasn't planning on having an Earth bound Cantina... and not just because Barbot Adventures isn't set on Earth..

Understood. However, he will have to have somewhere to collect supplies, unless they magically appear on the cycle? (Okay, too much logic...) Warehouses perhaps?
