Question about the Android phone from Samsung

The other day I bought an Android phone from Samsung, and when I call someone, I'm able to have my # display, which is good, but it say "Unavailable name" to the phone receiving it. I'd like to be able to have my name shown, so the person I'm calling knows it's me.

Is there anyway I can make it so that the receiving phone sees my name? Is there something I have to do with the phone?

Call your cellphone provider, and ask them if it's possible to transmit your Caller ID when you make a call. That helps with strangers, but if you just want friends to see your ID then get them to add your number to their contacts.

That's a function of your cell phone provider. 2 yrs ago when a family member switched from AT&T to Sprint it took them six months to get that straightened out.

every time you call someone have them tell you if the your number shows and keep calling the company until it gets fixed.
