    I use CS2 and Paint Shop Pro 7. I'll use both on the same thing because some things are easier on one than the other

      I got CS5 for a very reasonable price, but that's because I'm a student so I got that discount.

      I'd suggest getting Elements. It's an awesome program and a lot easier to learn quickly than the CS versions. I have Elements 7 and I use it more than CS5!.. but the main reason I have the latter is because my mom wanted it for her computer, so she used my discount and bought it.

      You can get a very reasonably-priced PSE product through Ebay, Amazon, etc. I say go for it. Or just use GIMP.
