I love the use of derelict places as backgrounds. It really appeals to me and love what you did with the text.

Don't get me wrong, I love the long days full of light. But with above 100 ºF it's impossible to do anything outdoors and enjoy the light. Thankfully, by the sea the temperatures are lower.

I did all the blurring effects in Gimp..

I only meant to fix the eye piece.. I forgot to take the rust texture off the glowy bit in the middle..

I thought while I had Gimp open I might try to blur the Dalek at the back.. just to see how it looked.. And then the one at the front as well.. and then the one at the back some more..

I saved it and closed Gimp before I started adding lens flares to the eye stalks..

I couldn't agree more, temperatures above 100 F is just not enjoyable (unless I'm on vacation and just sitting in the shadow next to a swimmingpool reading my favorite fics )
